Our School

BOKARO PUBLIC SCHOOL is a co – educational Day School for students of Pre-Primary Classes to Class 12th, established in April 1995, with a view to offering best of educational opportunities and hostel facilities (for boys) in the city of Bokaro.
The founder Director, Capt. R. C. Yadav, an Ex Army-officer whose belief was that the discipline is the backbone of all success in every sphere of life, initiated under his vision and tremendous hard work to impart best possible quality education to the students of Bokaro established “Sainik Shiksha Prachar Society” a non-profit organisation in the year 1995 and a school campus with few class rooms. Very soon the results of BPS students encouraged other students to join BPS and gradually its expansion reached to state of arts four storied buildings with excellent infrastructure, having hostel facility for boys with all necessary amenities and comfort with very nutritious and hygienic food, 24X7 water and electricity and one of most secured campus with all round CCTV’s coverage and trained guards. Now the school is fostering the future of approx. 2000 students with care and compassion.
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
BPS is recognised among top schools for its vision and innovation in teaching, learning and preparing students for the future.
The student count comprising approx. 2000 students reflects the belief and trust earned through diversity in Bokaro.

Our Vision

Bokaro Public School aims to attract and develop exceptional students who are open-minded, knowledgeable, and creative, critical thinkers. They learn to express themselves in a variety of ways and grow their capacity for collaborative work in the classrooms and beyond. The school seeks to develop principled, reflective, disciplined and balanced risk-takers who know the difference between activity and action, and can step forward when needed. Students at BPS are expected to pursue genuine intellectual achievement while developing the leadership and entrepreneurial skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
We believe that leadership skills can be taught and decision-making skills can be developed. In preparing our students to enter a fast-changing and complex world, we take every opportunity to use experiences inside and outside the classroom to explore the art of gaining trust through authentic action, collaborating to bring about growth in social capital and positively impacting others.
